Johnson's Farm, Orange, MA - 2nd Review

As promised, we got back to Johnson's for another visit.  This time, 4 of us popped in for another breakfast.  The service was excellent again.  We had the same waitress and I forgot to ask her name again!

We have conferred together and decided, after much deliberation, to declare Johnson's Farm pancakes as: "The best we have tasted!"  Congratulations!

As for the rest of the meal:

I had Eggs Benedict.  The Hollandaise was delicious, as usual, but the egg was slightly overcooked.  Still great - 3.5

C had Maple Walnut Pancakes.  They were delicious as expected and we scored them a 4.5.

Kari had the regular Pancakes with Bacon.  The pancakes were 4.5.  There was some controversy over the Bacon.  Kari and C like it crispy while P and I like it chewy.  I thought it was perfect.  The girls wanted it crispier.  Bottom line, if you want bacon a certain way, you have to ask.  We decided to give it a 4 anyway, because it was delicious.

P had Over Easy Eggs with Bacon.  We gave them a 4 as well.  Perfectly cooked OE eggs are hard to come by, and these were perfectly cooked.

The coffee was delicious.  I would say our only negative from this visit is that we weren't smart enough to buy some home-made donuts.  I guess we'll just have to go back again!
