Azul - Palm Springs, CA

This is a unique bar/restaurant in downtown Palm Springs.  The atmosphere is vibrant and exciting, with an open layout that invites lounging and hanging out.  They have a variety of specials and have an extended happy hour.  We had a number of drinks (we were a party of six, super wonderful people) and lots of great conversation that was not rushed by the staff.

Sarah had the house salad with grilled chicken.  She enjoyed it, and her only complaint was that it could have used a little more balsamic vinegar in the dressing.  She scored it a 4.0
Mikey had the Filet Mignon Sliders and everybody agreed that they were about perfect.  They were scored a 5.0

The Prime Rib was had by Eric and Jupe, one medium and one medium rare.  The medium was a little rare, but the outside had a good crust.  They both agreed that they were a 4.0
Kari had Linguini with a Pink Vodka Sauce.  I really enjoyed this one and though the sauce was great.  We scored it a 4.25
I had the trio of Tuna.  Tartar, Sesame Seared and Raw Tuna Salad.  The Seared Tuna was perfect.  The Tartar went great with the Wasabe Sauce.  The Salad was an afterthought with the generous portions of the other two.  I gave it a 4.5.

This was a great night out.  Great food, great people and wonderful atmosphere.  This is definetely a go-to spot in Palm Springs!
