We used to go to the Solana Beach location when we lived in San Diego and a return trip was a priority for our California vacation. Imagine our surprise when we found they had opened up in Ocean Beach! Much more convenient. The location was faithful to the Pizza Port ideal. Great self made beer and awesome local brews at the bar, delicious pizza with a perfect crust, and a fun, friendly atmosphere.
We had the Garlic Balls and they were pretty good. The Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza was excellent, with a great, herbal flavor and generous toppings. We gave the pizza a 4.25, the rolls a 3.0 and the beer - their Pale Ale, a 4.25.
You need to stop in if you're in the San Diego area!
