MacLaomainn's Scottish Pub, Chester, VT

Oh, so delicious.  This is good authentic Scottish fare, including all the good, creepy sausage-y bangers and mash type foods. The menu is full of yummy, rich comfort foods.  And they also have salads and burgers...and a full bar.

Paul has been craving their Auld Reekie Stew, which he LOVES, since last fall!!  The stew has sausage, cabbage, and veggies and is covered in melted cheese.  He gives it an easy 4.75!!

I had the Steak Pie with smashed potato and carrots and peas.  We gave that around a 4.

For dessert, we had the Ben Lomond: a homemade chocolate chip cookies sandwiching vanilla ice cream and then drizzled with chocolate sauce and whipped cream...oh, just perfect for a hot summer day.  3 1/2.

MacLaomainn's is a MUST stop if you are passing near Chester, VT. The service is always good, the food is always hot and delicious.  It can get very, very busy though, so head's up if you're planning a visit on a Friday night...
