This was our first restaurant in Alaska and it was a decent dinner. The price was a little high though. That may be an Alaska or tourist town thing; time will tell.
The atmosphere was really nice, and the waiter was attentive and efficient. The food was ready quickly and was very hot (first job of the restaurant - sat!) Their beer selection was good and the menu was extensive and looked pretty authentic.
I had Alaskan Amber (3.5) and Kari had Alaskan Summer (3.0) (a Kolsch style beer that was okay, but not as good as Coast Brewing's - call me a homer.)
Kari had the Lasagna, which had 10 layers of pasta, a good amount of meat, cheese and sauce, and a huge portion. We gave it a 3.25 - I would have it again.
I had the special, which was Rigatoni with Bolognese Sauce and Ricotta and Mozzarella Cheese. This was also a good sized portion, piping hot, with lots of meaty sauce. I scored it 3.25 as well.
The Salad had deliciously sweet grape tomatoes, a slice of provolone cheese and a really good Bleu Cheese dressing. We scored it a 3.75.
The price was $65 including the tip.
